A compact Amsterdam Oud-West studio where live takes, vocal sessions and offline mix/master share one address.
Why Morceauxnode exists
Morceauxnode opened in 2019 because bands and solo artists in Amsterdam wanted a live room that feels controlled, not cavernous, plus a booth that actually isolates. Sessions are built around what you need to capture — not a fixed production package.
Each booking gets an assigned engineer: Mira for vocals and live, Jonas for mix and master, Niels for scheduling and studio management. Whoever writes your quote often welcomes you on the day.
The rooms
Live room (42 m²)
Drums on a riser, bass and guitar amps on rugs, gobos for separation. Built for Live band recording and larger setups with re-amp options.
Iso booth (1)
Lead, doubles and ad-libs with a controlled cue mix; sight lines into the live room.
Control
Hybrid desk, outboard where it helps, monitors for critical listening during tracking and mix.
Gear in brief
Roughly 26 microphones and 32 inputs to the console — enough for a full band with overheads and room mics. We describe categories rather than brand laundry lists: condensers for vocals, dynamics on drums and amps, ribbons when they fit.
For podcast recording the table handles up to 4 speakers with broadcast arms and pop filters.
Address and access
Overtoom 301, 1054 GL Amsterdam (Oud-West). Trams 1 and 7 stop at Overtoom; from that stop it is about a 2-minute walk to number 301. From Amsterdam Centraal, tram 1 towards Osdorp takes roughly 15 minutes. By bike from Leidseplein it is about 6 minutes via Overtoom.

Working together
We publish rates including VAT and always send a written quote. Mix includes 2 revision rounds; mastering includes one by default — see services. Cancel free until 7 days before your session.
Rights and portfolio use are agreed upfront; background in rights after a vocal session and our terms.
- One engineer per sessionNo rotating hourly freelancers; you know who runs gain and takes.
- Published ratesPrices on the site and in quotes; 30 % deposit, balance as agreed.
- Your mastersAfter payment the studio does not co-own your recordings.
- Bounded archiveSessions kept internally for 24 months — then we delete copies.
