Accessibility statement
This English version is for information only. The Dutch version is legally authoritative. Toegankelijkheidsverklaring
In brief
- We aim for a site usable with keyboard, screen reader and zoomed display.
- The Overtoom studio has steps at the entrance; directions are on contact.
- Found a barrier on the site? Email [email protected] — we aim to reply within 2 business days.
- This statement follows EU accessibility rules; Dutch law applies where relevant.
1. Our commitment
Morceauxnode wants everyone to find information about our Amsterdam recording studio and reach us, regardless of disability or assistive technology. This statement describes the current state, planned improvements and how to give feedback.
The site covers services such as vocal recording, live band recording, mixing, mastering and podcast recording. Legal pages including privacy and cookies follow the same structure.
2. Standard we follow
We design against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA where practicable. The European Accessibility Act requires increased attention from 28 June 2025 for certain products and services; we monitor Dutch transposition and update the site when new duties apply.
This statement is not a certificate; it is an honest account of what we test and what still needs work.
3. Measures already in place
- Semantic HTML with headings, lists and tables where appropriate.
- Skip link to main content and visible focus styles for keyboard users.
- Text alternatives for studio photographs, matching alt text on the site.
- Form labels linked to fields on contact; required fields are indicated.
- Language attributes per page (Dutch or English) and a language switch in the header.
- Cookie banner operable by keyboard; accept and reject are equally prominent.
- No autoplay of audio or video on the website.
4. Known limitations
Despite checks, barriers may remain:
- Some decorative motion has limited pause options; we avoid putting essential information only in animation.
- External links (for example maps via OpenStreetMap) follow third-party policies.
- Older browsers may not support every modern CSS feature; core content stays readable.
Studio access: our address at Overtoom 301 is reachable by tram; Trams 1 and 7 stop at Overtoom; from that stop it is about a 2-minute walk to number 301. From Amsterdam Centraal, tram 1 towards Osdorp takes roughly 15 minutes. By bike from Leidseplein it is about 6 minutes via Overtoom.. There are steps at the entrance and no lift in the building. Parking is limited (2 spaces at the building when available). For wheelchair access or extra help, call 020 789 0416 before your visit.
5. Testing and maintenance
After major changes we spot-check contrast, keyboard navigation and reading order using automated tools and manual review. No test catches everything.
