Offline per track vs studio hour

Offline per track means you deliver a full stem set for one song and we mix without you on site. Rate €185 per finished title, including 21% VAT. Studio per hour (€88) is for sessions where you attend, rearrange sections or we react to notes in real time.

Releasing an EP or short project up to five songs? Bundle price €720 covers the set when stems follow the same technical rules (one sample rate, same export layout). Ask for a check if one song needs far more editing than the others.

Delivering stems

Consistent exports save days of email. Provide:

1. WAV 24-bit, one sample rate for the whole project (48 kHz unless agreed otherwise)
2. All tracks from the same start point (bar 1 / timecode 0)
3. Clear names: Kick, Bass DI, Lead Vox, not Audio 47
4. A rough mix or reference MP3 peaking sensibly, no brickwall limiter on refs

Folder layout and transfer methods are in file formats for mixing. Large projects via secure link or SSD drop-off at Overtoom 301.

What the mix does and does not cover

We focus on balance, EQ, dynamics, spatial effects, section edits and a stereo image that translates. Vocal tuning or drum replacement only if agreed upfront and within time or budget.

Not included: mastering (see mastering), social clip versions unless booked, sample clearance, arranging coaching or re-recording bad source material. If tracks contain noise or room tone that cannot be mixed away, we discuss honestly whether vocal recording or a band retake is needed.

Workflow and communication

After intake you get written scope: track count, first mix date, contact (often Jonas Meijer for mix). Send feedback bundled per revision round: timestamps plus short lines (“1:04 — vocal drier”, “chorus bass +1 dB”). Notes spread across days count as multiple rounds.

We work in Pro Tools- and Reaper-friendly workflows; export is stereo WAV 24-bit plus optional instrumental and acapella for video or promo. Stems and effect buses stay in archive 24 months unless you extend.

Pricing and VAT

Net amounts for business invoices: e.g. €152.89 excl. VAT per offline track. Deposit 30% at project start; B2B payment term 14 days. Full terms: terms and conditions.

Turnaround

First mix usually lands within five to ten business days once stems are complete and technically sound. Rush is sometimes available at extra cost — ask via [email protected]. Studio hours book within Mon–Fri 09:30–18:30, Sat by appointment; Saturday by appointment.

If stems are incomplete we pause the clock until your addendum arrives. That avoids delivering a mix with holes later. Planning and parking (2 spots at the door): contact.

Revisions and versions

Each offline track or EP title includes 2 revision rounds: you collect notes, we adjust and deliver an updated bounce. Extra rounds or large arrangement changes are billed hourly or per track as agreed.

Instrumental, TV mix or clean explicit versions on request when materials allow. Mastering-ready export (headroom, no limiter on master bus) is default; streaming loudness we prefer in mastering so every title in a release shares the same final stage.

Privacy and storage

Stems stay on secured studio systems; we do not share with third parties except download hosting you authorise. See privacy policy for retention and rights. Want files deleted right after delivery? State it in the brief — we confirm in writing.
